Classic Fourth of July Barbeque. Bryan and Pat valiantly rescuing BBQ supplies from the rain. An obligatory dance from Josh and Pat. Lewis and I took pictures of the nice weather that we saw... unfortunately it was heading away from us. Smash Brothers, of course. Dogpile? Starting the trek to Gasworks. I need a tripod for evening/night pictures I guess. Look out! A giant 76 sign. I bet those people love their view. At least it isn't lit. Cool rings under the lights. Adam was trying to be in as many of the pictures as possible. Seattle skyline. Plus powerlines. Ice cream truck! Josh is wishing he was the ice cream man. The Space Needle. I think we're at Gasworks. Almost inside. Mmm, industry. More gasworks stuff. A blindingly bright light so that the fireworks wouldn't get lost on the way. The Statue of Liberty was buried in that hillside, underneath all those people. Gasworks. And blurry Andrew. People and the skyline. Fourth of July flags. A sea of people. Supposedly a heliopter is holding up that flag and flying around. And the show begins. Ooohhh. Aaahhh. Boom. Sparkle. Pop. I'm running out of things to say about fireworks. So I think I'll stop. img_1011.jpg This looks more like electricity than fireworks. img_1013.jpg img_1014.jpg img_1015.jpg img_1016.jpg img_1017.jpg img_1018.jpg The blue and red stuff is from a guy walking by with glowsticks. img_1021.jpg img_1022.jpg Blurred on purpose to see what would happen. Same here. Switched from “Fireworks” mode to “Automatic”. It's a lot less blurry, but the colors aren't as good. img_1027.jpg img_1028.jpg img_1029.jpg img_1031.jpg img_1032.jpg img_1033.jpg img_1034.jpg img_1035.jpg img_1036.jpg img_1038.jpg img_1040.jpg img_1042.jpg img_1044.jpg img_1047.jpg img_1048.jpg img_1049.jpg img_1050.jpg I don't think this car is going anywhere soon. Neither is this one. Stuck on 520 on the way back, an hour and a half later. I found out afterwards that this jam started about 5 minutes before I got there, apparently there was an accident. Yes, bad traffic at 12:15am. Must be Seattle. mvi_1019.wmv mvi_1025.wmv mvi_1030.wmv mvi_1051.wmv mvi_1052.wmv mvi_1055.wmv
